The ultra-lightweight Dynamic Data Recorder (DDR) from DTS, a data logger with high-shock 10000 g operating/survivability, is designed as a flex circuit so can be laid flat or curved around and embedded in objects such as mouthguards. This DDR technology is being used in harsh environments, such as those experienced by military personnel,  to help measure 6-degrees-of-freedom injury biomechanics data in the field.
