DID YOU KNOW? The University of Guelph in Canada used a SLICE MICRO data acquisition system to study how different ground surfaces impact equine foot and leg injuries. A 9-channel SLICE MICRO, equipped with a triaxial IEPE accelerometer and six strain gages, was mounted directly on horse hooves to measure acceleration and strain, capturing critical data for injury prevention research.
